Kawasaki Recalls 5906 Motorcycles for Stalling Problem

Kawasaki has issued a recall of certain 2006 VN900B6F, VN900B6FL, VN900D6F, and VN900D6FL motorcycles.

Certain motorcycles may stall under deceleration due to an improper setting of the engine control unit (ECU). This could create the potential for a crash, resulting in injury or death.

5906 units are affected.

Check out my Motorcycle Recalls feature for more details.

THE PROBLEM STARTS WITH BUYING A KAWASAKI TO BEGIN WITH. i BOUGHT A NEW 2008 VULCAN 2000 CLASSIC LT AT SAN DIEGO HOUSE OF MOTORCYCLES ONLY TO FIND AS I WALKED OUT THE DOOR THAT IT WAS A 2007. AND THE 6.9% LOAN KAWASAKI OFFERS IS 17.8% WHEN THE BILL HITS YOUR DOOR. A PACK OF THIEVES. . . .DO NOT BUY KAWASAKI. . .

So far as I know, Kawasaki has only introduced the Concours 14 and one other model as 2008 models so far. The 2008 Vulcan 2000 Classic LT has not been released yet. As far as financing goes, read the fine print. I always get a credit union loan ahead of time and then pay the dealer with that. A lot cheaper.
