Ducati Recalls 2015-2016 Multistrada 1200 and 1200S Motorcycles for Sidestand Failure

Ducati North America (Ducati) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 Multistrada 1200 and 1200 S motorcycles manufactured December 1, 2014, to June 11, 2015.

In the affected vehicles, the side-stand may break, due to an incorrect length of the side-stand support tube.

If the side-stand breaks, the motorcycle would fall over, increasing the risk of injury to the rider and/or the passenger.

869 units are affected.

Kymco Recalls 2015 Super 8-50X and Super 8-150X Motor Scooters for Incorrectly Routed Front Hydraulic Brake Hose

KYMCO (KYMCO USA) is recalling certain model year 2015 Super 8-50 X and 2015 Super 8-150 X road scooters manufactured February 6, 2015, to September 15, 2015.

In the affected models, the front hydraulic brake hose may be improperly routed, and as a result, the brake hose may contact the front tire when the front suspension is compressed.

If the hydraulic brake hose contacts the tire, the hose may rupture, resulting in a loss of front brakes and increasing the risk of a crash.

Yamaha Recalls 2015 YZF-R3 for an Incorrectly Manufactured Upper Triple Clamp (Handle Crown) that May Crack While Riding

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA (Yamaha) is recalling certain model year 2015 YZFR3 motorcycles manufactured January 1, 2015, to August 31, 2015.

The affected motorcycles may have an incorrectly manufactured upper triple clamp (handle crown) that may crack while riding.

If the upper triple clamp fractures, a loss of steering control may result, increasing the risk of a crash.
