Fuel Helmets Recalls SH-HHGL1 Small Motorcycle Helmets For a Strap That May Fail In Low Or High Temperatures
The strap that secures the helmet to the rider's head may fail in low or high temperatures. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 218, "Motorcycle Helmets."
If the helmet strap fails to keep the helmet secured in the event of a crash, the rider has an increased risk of injury.

Deposits may form on components within the brake system if the DOT 4 brake fluid is not replaced for a prolonged period of time beyond the 2-year maintenance schedule specified in the Owner's Manual.
These deposits may cause a valve within the ABS Hydraulic Control Unit to stick, reducing braking ability and increasing the risk of a crash.
