Soaring Helmet Corporation Recalls Stealth Phantom Helmets for Inadequately Protecting the Wearer from Penetration Injuries in the Event of a Crash

Soaring Helmet Corporation (Soaring) is recalling certain Stealth Phantom helmets, part numbers 8300 and 8351, in sizes extra small through XXL, in all sizes and graphics, manufactured April 1, 2013, to December 30, 2014.

The affected helmets may not adequately protect the wearer from penetration injuries in the event of a crash. As such, these helmets fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 218, "Motorcycle Helmets."

6,631 units are affected.
