Daytona Helmets International (Daytona) Recalls Skull Cap D1, D3, and D6 Helmets Since They May Not Adequately Protect the Wearer In the Event Of a Head Impact During a Motorcycle Crash

Daytona Helmets International (Daytona) is recalling certain Skull Cap D1, D3 and D6 Helmets in sizes 3XS through 4XL. These helmets may not adequately protect the wearer in the event of a head impact during a motorcycle crash. As such, these helmets fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 218, "Motorcycle Helmets."

In the event of a crash, the helmet may not adequately protect the wearer, increasing their risk of injury.

2,454 units are affected.
